For this project, I was inspired by relationships and the fact that they are never perfect. Some relationships represent the bond people have while others express detachment. The images in this project have an ombre effect and fade from blue to brown or vice versa. To create this look, I used tea toning, a process that uses Borax to bleach the cyanotype and black tea to add a brown color. It is a long process, and the photographs may be soaked in tea for hours, depending how brown the artist wants the photographs to be.
